Kandao Care Terms of Service


Thank you for purchasing Kandao Care service. Please note the following key points:
  • 1. By purchasing Kandao Care service, you acknowledge that you have fully read, understood, and agreed to these service terms.
  • 2. To ensure you can enjoy the benefits normally, the version of Kandao Care you purchased must match the region where the Kandao Technology product was bought.
  • 3. The product serial number (SN) and component serial numbers (SN) of Kandao Technology products are critical for using all Kandao Care services. Please keep them secure and do not disclose them to others. You shall bear full responsibility for any consequences arising from the theft of your product SN due to such disclosure.
  • 4. Before applying for Kandao Care services, please visit Kandao Technology’s Privacy Policy page and read it carefully. By applying for the service, you confirm that you have read, agreed to, and will comply with the Privacy Policy, and authorize Kandao Technology to collect and use your personal information (including but not limited to name, phone number, email address, and physical address) and product information (including but not limited to product model, product SN, and product settings data) during the provision of services.
  • 5. To ensure the security and compliance of Care services, Kandao Technology may verify information such as Care ownership and actual user identity when necessary (e.g., in case of suspected anomalies). You agree to provide such information (including phone number, email address, and any other information deemed necessary by Kandao Technology) for identity verification. If you fail to pass the verification, Kandao Technology reserves the right to refuse to provide relevant service benefits.
  • 6. Before applying for Kandao Care services, please back up and/or delete all data installed or stored on the product, including but not limited to photos, videos, third-party software, and software packages on the internal storage or SD card. If any such information cannot be deleted, please modify it to prevent others from accessing it or to ensure it no longer constitutes "personal data" as defined by applicable laws. If you fail to delete such data in advance, Kandao Technology may inevitably access it during service provision and may delete it in the course of providing services. Kandao Technology shall not be liable for any loss or leakage of data in returned or repaired products.
  • 7. During service provision, Kandao Technology may disassemble, inspect, or dispose of batteries you send. You must ensure the products sent meet the service eligibility criteria; otherwise, you shall compensate Kandao Technology for any losses incurred and bear all losses arising from the disposal of the batteries you sent.
  • 8. If your account, associated accounts, or purchased Care services have unresolved abnormal service cases or other suspected abnormal behaviors (e.g., repeated or bulk replacement requests), Kandao Technology reserves the right to restrict your use of Care services.
  • 9. If your account, associated accounts, purchased devices, or Care services involve fraud, material misrepresentation during after-sales service, or use of Care services for commercial gain, Kandao Technology may immediately cancel the Care service without prior notice. Kandao Technology may also require you to pay all fees for past and current services provided, with no refunds issued, and may restrict future purchases or renewals.

1. Service Content

All Kandao Care services are provided by Kandao Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Kandao Technology").

Service details may vary by product; please refer to the description on the purchase page for specific terms. The start and end dates of Kandao Care are specified in the service agreement sent to you upon successful binding of the service product. Kandao Care (1-year version) is valid for 12 months, and Kandao Care (2-year version) is valid for 24 months. All service benefits included in Kandao Care share the same validity period as the service product.

1.1 Product Fault/Damage Replacement

Hereinafter referred to as "Replacement Service." If a Kandao Technology product specified in these terms malfunctions or is damaged due to normal use or accidental incidents within the coverage period, you may obtain a fully functional replacement product from Kandao Technology after completing the replacement service process.

Services with a limited number of uses will have their count reduced by 1 each time they are used. The replaced device will be automatically bound to the original product’s Kandao Care.

Third-party courier services are used for product returns. Kandao Technology shall not be liable for any loss of your product caused by third-party couriers during transportation; you must resolve such issues directly with the courier. To avoid transportation problems, ensure the product is properly packaged before handing it over to the courier. Kandao Technology reserves the right to claim compensation from you for any losses incurred due to improper packaging.

If you fail to return all damaged components covered by the replacement service, you must pay an additional fee for the missing components; otherwise, the fault/damage replacement service will not be provided.

1.2 Official Warranty

If a Kandao Technology product specified in these terms experiences performance issues due to non-human causes within the Kandao Care coverage period, Kandao Technology or its authorized service centers will cover all material and labor costs for repairs (unlimited times).

1.3 Global Warranty

If a Kandao Technology product specified in these terms is eligible for global warranty (see FAQs for supported models), and you purchased the product through official or authorized channels with valid proof of purchase, you may apply for services at any authorized Kandao Technology service center worldwide after Kandao Technology’s technical support confirms the fault is covered. Specific terms and rules are subject to the country/region where the service is requested.

If the product is not eligible for global warranty, services are limited to the country/region selected at the time of purchasing Kandao Care.

2. Service Coverage

2.1 Covered Scenarios
The following scenarios are covered by Kandao Care services. Fees will apply for issues beyond the coverage scope:
  • 1) The Replacement Service covers damage or loss of the entire product due to normal use or accidents. For QooCam 3 and QooCam 3 Ultra, covered components include the main unit and battery.
  • 2) The Official Warranty covers performance issues of the following components caused by non-human factors: For QooCam 3 and QooCam 3 Ultra, extended warranty components include the camera and battery.
2.2 Excluded Scenarios
Kandao Technology reserves the right to refuse service for the following scenarios, with no liability for losses, fees, or responsibilities incurred:
  • 1) Mismatch between the Kandao Care version and the product’s purchase region;
  • 2) Service requests made outside the covered region;
  • 3) Service requests submitted after the coverage period expires;
  • 4) Failure to follow the service application process;
  • 5) Damage to components not covered by the service;
  • 6) Damage to non-Kandao Technology products;
  • 7) Damage caused by use with uncertified third-party parts or software;
  • 8) Damage caused by natural disasters, war, military operations, riots, coups, terrorism, or similar events;
  • 9) Damage caused by nuclear radiation, nuclear explosions, nuclear pollution, or other radioactive contamination;
  • 10) Additional operations or costs to upgrade or improve product technical standards or performance;
  • 11) Any indirect losses or expected profits;
  • 12) Lawsuits, arbitrations, or related costs arising from service responsibilities;
  • 13) Malicious fraud (including but not limited to tampering with the product using third-party tools).
The Replacement Service additionally excludes:
  • 1) Partial or total loss of covered components during replacement;
  • 2) Personal injury or property damage to users or third parties caused by the product.
The Official Warranty additionally excludes:
  • 1) Partial or total loss of covered components;
  • 2) Personal injury or property damage to users or third parties caused by the product;
  • 3) Damage caused by non-quality issues;
  • 4) Damage caused by improper installation, use, or operation not in line with the user manual;
  • 5) Damage caused by using defective batteries;
  • 6) Natural wear and tear or damage to surface, casing, or frame components that do not affect product functionality.

3. Termination of Service

Kandao Technology reserves the right to unilaterally terminate this agreement without refunding any fees in the following cases:
  • 1) The product for which service is requested was not purchased through official or authorized channels;
  • 2) Non-covered components are returned;
  • 3) Covered components for service are partially or fully missing, stolen, seized, or discarded;
  • 4) Intentional damage to the product or intentional obstruction of product information verification;
  • 5) Unauthorized repairs, component replacements, modifications, or disassembly not following official guidance;
  • 6) Use of the product for illegal or non-compliant activities;
  • 7) Transfer of Care services to a third party.

Note: If your actions cause losses to Kandao Technology, in addition to terminating the agreement, Kandao Technology reserves the right to claim full compensation for such losses.

Service is deemed fully fulfilled and terminated in the following cases:
  • 1) The agreed coverage period expires;
  • 2) The agreed number of service uses is exhausted;
  • 3) You voluntarily withdraw from Kandao Care with Kandao Technology’s confirmation.

4. Withdrawal and Transfer of Kandao Care

You may apply to withdraw from Kandao Care only if your Kandao Technology product is returned in accordance with official return policies.

If your product is not returned, or if you have used any service under Kandao Care, you cannot withdraw from the service plan.

Kandao Care is non-transferable. You may not transfer any rights or obligations under this service plan, and Kandao Technology reserves the right to verify relevant information during service provision.
